Impact of control center failure

Hi,

I want to understand what is the impact of the failure of a control center.

In other words, when the control center fails :

1. Does the scanner continue to process inbound/outbound mail flow without any issue?
2. Where quarantine emails will be stored or queued?
3. Will the definition updates be impacted?
4. Will the directory access be impacted?
5. Where the logs will be stored(audit logs)?
